Chinese flower-and-bird painting,in the national painting,has the perfect artistic style and the unique system,from ancient times to now,in the painting history at home and abroad,has won the deep respect of "the people are in love with each other,unique".The technique of hitting water and powder is an important method for the creation of flower-and-bird painting.In the late Qing dynasty,the Ling Nan painters Julian and Ju Chao developed the technique of hitting water and powder on the basis of no bone technique,which later influenced the outstanding representative of Ling Nan school of painting "two high schools and one old" and has been continued to this day.This technique is used in Chinese painting in a general way without losing its delicacy,and the effect of the texture of the brush and ink is concise,showing the characteristics of the image.It reflects the artistic features of frankness in the varied texture,adding a lot of obscure interest to the artistic conception of the picture,and endosing the artistic beauty of the image.The artistic conception in the technique of hitting water and powder is mainly reflected in the painter’s research and painting process.In the research and exploration of the technique of hitting water and powder,it is necessary to use techniques,methods and materials to deeply study the aesthetic taste and artistic conception in the picture.During the three years of postgraduate study,the author studied and studied the characteristics of Julian Ju Chao’s water and powder bumping technique and the interesting ink and brush in traditional Chinese painting under the guidance of his tutor.This research is divided into four parts.The first part introduces specific works to illustrate the performance and characteristics of the water and powder impact technique in painting through analysis and demonstration.In the second part,combining with the interest of Chinese painting,the author analyzes and expands the artistic conception beauty reflected in Chinese painting by the water and powder bumping technique.The third part shows how to practice and innovate the skills of water and powder collision in the author’s works of flower and bird painting "rose","elegant rhyme" series,"cold water and clear," "green","four seasons brocade",etc.The fourth part summarizes the views of the paper and draws a conclusion.
