Panpipe is a kind of traditional wind instrument with multiple pipes in ancient China.From the beginning of being the main accompaniment instrument of Shao to the end of Qing Dynasty,it has a long history of development for thousands of years,leaving a strong mark in the history of ancient Chinese music.When the Tang and Song Dynasties replaced,Panpipe began to show a declining trend.Compared with the prosperous period of the development of Panpipe in Sui and Tang Dynasties,and the declining period of Panpipe in yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties,the development of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties can be said to be the process of ancient Panpipe from prosperity to decline,an important transition period in the development history of Panpipe.The shape and application of Panpipe are changing.In the whole development process of Panpipe,there are a lot of documents and image data presented in various ways.These vivid and intuitive image data provide important basis and valuable data for Panpipe research.This paper is divided into four parts,with the image data of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties as the main research object,combined with the literature records,analyzes and studies the changes of the title of Panpipe in history,the shape characteristics of the image of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties,the application occasions of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties,and the application of band in different band combinations,so as to fully understand the history The development characteristics of Panpipe.The first part: analysis of Panpipe recorded in literature.Mainly through combing the literature data to understand the changes of the appellation of ancient panxiao,this paper interprets and analyzes the two appellations "Xiao" and "panxiao" in the official history of the past dynasties,and studies and analyzes the other appellations of panxiao recorded in the literature data outside the official history,so as to grasp the overall development profile of panxiao.The second part: the research on the image and form of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties.The intuitiveness of image data is its most prominent and significant feature.Throughout all the Panpipe images,Panpipe in different periods has different shape characteristics.Through sorting and analyzing the image classification of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties,this paper studies the shape and structure of Panpipe inthis historical period,preliminarily grasps the content reflected by the image as a whole,and tries to analyze the reasons for the change of the shape of Panpipe.The third part: the picture of song,Liao and Jin music and dance and the Panpipe in the band organization recorded in the literature.This chapter analyzes from two aspects: image and literature.From the image data,we can not only see the Panpipe itself,but also intuitively see the musicians who play Panpipe,the surrounding scenes when Panpipe is playing,the corresponding band combination and other information.Therefore,using the method of "integrity" research,on the one hand,from the perspective of "application",we can analyze the development characteristics of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin music and its functions in music activities On the other hand,it provides a perspective to understand the musical and cultural exchanges between the Han nationality and ethnic minorities.In the literature,it mainly records the application of Panpipe in the court music.This paper analyzes from two aspects,in order to fully understand the application scene and band combination of Panpipe in song,Liao and Jin Dynasties.
