As the first generation of violin player,composer and educator in China,Ma Sicong devoted his life to the creation,performance and teaching of violin music.For more than half a century,Ma Sicong has composed many different forms and styles of violin music,which has brought the violin into a new stage of nationalization in China.Ma Sicong's violin music skillfully combines the theme melody in folk songs with mature western composer skills to become a violin solo with a distinctive national flavor.This article analyzes the creative background,performance skills,melody structure,and melody characteristics of the two masterpieces of Ma Sicong's violin solo,Inner Mongolia Suite and First Rondo,and combines his own playing experience to explore the two solos.The nationalization features included in the creation and the nationalization development of the violin have several effects on the creation of violin music in China.At the same time,I hope that through the writing of this article,it can provide some valuable references for scholars who deeply study related topics in the future.
