American choral music has a long history,and its development has a strong cultural background and color of the times.It originated from the people and returned to public life.American choral music culture permeates all aspects of daily life.Americans attach great importance to early music education,cultivating students' musical abilities,and scientific and reasonable choral training methods,which have led to unprecedented development of chorus in the United States.Systematically review relevant research literature on American choral education in the past 20 years,and explore the research hotspots and progress in the field of American choral education in the new century.It was found that in terms of content,research on American chorus education has gradually shifted from raising awareness of the nature and form of chorus music to focusing on social groups built around the chorus,the internal factors such as the identity,gender difference,and age of the chorus,and self-regulation,Motivation,preference,perception,critical thinking and other psychological-related issues have become the focus of research.The research method as a whole shows the characteristics from subjective abstraction to quantitative objective analysis.This article is mainly composed of the following contents: First,based on the American Choral CiteSpace education literature analysis,the use of bibliometrics and CiteSpace software for data analysis,keyword center as well as nominal terms central knowledge map,preliminary identification of focus areas of the United States in the past two decades chorus education.Second,related Literature on the research of choral education objects,the physical and mental development of youth growth,the comprehensive quality of students' music,and the choral education of special social groups have become the hotspots of literature research on choral education in the new century.Third,the literature on choral teacher research,and the teaching staff is chorus The most important human guarantee in education,the construction of the teaching staff is the key way to develop the chorus career,how the teacher's command skills affect the chorus sound,how to improve the teacher's comprehensive quality,how to improve the teacher's teaching level,etc.are all American chorus education Important topics of literature research;Fourth,the literature on choral teachingmodels and teaching methods,mainly focusing on the exploration of choral repertoire,innovative teaching methods,and optimization of teaching environment;Fifth,the literature on choral teaching concepts research Involving two perspectives The first change is from the "European Music Center" to the multicultural music education world view.The second is from multiculturalism to the cultural response teaching model.Sixth,the enlightenment of American choral education to Chinese choral education.The characteristics of the current situation of choral education provide practical basis and reference for the development of choral education in China.On the other hand,it can create a context system suitable for an equal international dialogue at the academic level and create conditions for the establishment of choral education with Chinese characteristics.
