At present, the trend of synthetic drugs addiction is rampant, and methamphetamine has replaced heroin as the "number one drug" in our country. The situation of detoxification is still grim. The Iowa Gambling Task(IGT),as a classic risk decision task,is often used to measure the behavioral impulsiveness of drug addicts, and drug addicts often show bad decision-making behaviors that pursue immediate high interests and ignore long-term losses in the decision-making tasks.Besides, emotions and emotional functions play an important role in the decision-making process, but few studies have explored the effects of different emotion types on drug addicts ‘ decision-making behavior. In addition, previous studies on drug addicts were mostly male, and no studies have analyzed the differences in decision-making between male drug addicts and female addicts. Therefore,Experiment 1 use the 2(Gender: male / female)× 3(emotional type:negative / positive / neutral)× 5(block)study design to investigate Differences in the decision-making behaviors of male and female methamphetamine addicts under the influence of different emotion types during the detoxification period. The results of the study show that:(1)The methamphetamine addicts of different genders has a lower IGT score in the negative emotion type than in the neutral emotion type.(2)The IGT scores of female methamphetamine addicts under the positive emotion type showed an overall upward trend, and the scores of blocks 4 and 5 were significantly higher than those under neutral and negative conditions;male methamphetamine addicts in the positive emotion type The performance of IGT decision-making is worse than that of neutral and negative emotional conditions.(3)Under different emotional types, the five groups of female methamphetamine addicts had higher IGT scores than men, female methamphetamine addicts performed better on IGT tasks.Decision-making performance of methamphetamine addicts is worse under the influence of negative emotion, negative emotions have always been a key psychological factor for drug addicts’ addiction and relapse behaviors.Drug addicts are still suffering from emotional problems during the period of compulsory detoxification.and emotion regulation strategies are widely used in life as a means and method for effectively regulating negative emotions. Therefore, learn to useemotion regulation strategies to cope with negative emotions. It can improve the ability of drug addicts to make correct decisions under the influence of negative emotions and reduce the tendency to relapse.Accordingly,Experiment 2 use the 2(Gender: male / female)× 3(emotional regulation strategy: no regulation strategy /cognitive reappraisal / expressive suppression)× 5(block)study design to investigate the male and female Addicts use emotional regulation strategies and do not use emotion regulation strategies in decision-making behavior under negative emotions. The results of the study show that:(1)The decision-making performance under the influence of negative emotions using emotion regulation strategies is better.(2)The IGT score of the cognitive reappraisal strategy group showed an overall upward trend, and the score changed from a negative value to a positive value over time, while the expressive suppression strategy group did not show this trend.(3)Female methamphetamine addicts had a significantly higher score in the five block when using cognitive reappraisal strategy than male methamphetamine addicts. This study provides new evidence for the viewpoint that emotion influence decision-making behavior, provides new thinking for focusing on the positive impact of positive emotions on decision-making behaviors of methamphetamine addicts, and provides suggestions for different decision-making behaviors of male and female methamphetamine addicts. In addition, under compulsory detoxification, drug addicts have always been under the influence of negative emotional states.According to the research results, emotional adjustment training can be established based on cognitive reappraisal strategy to solve the problem of negative emotional interference during drug withdrawal.A new direction has been proposed to reduce the relapse behavior of addicts after leaving the office and help them make rational decisions.
