With the increase of the country's overall national strength,the international influence of Chinese has also been further enhanced.The international demand for teachers of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is further expanding.The huge market demand has provided the impetus for the development of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,but at the same time,there are not many student who are really engaged in teachers of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.During the course of study,a large number of students changed their attitude towards the major,which is not only related to the situation in the job market,but also to the student's professional identity.Existing research shows that professional identity is related to various aspects,such as professional learning behavior,academic performance,and future employment willingness,which shows that it is necessary to investigate the status of professional identity of students and find the influencing factors of professional identityIn this study,we investigated two university in Jiangxi Province,which is Jiangxi Normal University and Nanchang University,two university in Guangdong Province,which is Jinan University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.247 students in these four universities were used as research samples to investigate the professional identity.The questionnaire surveys the status of professional identity of Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from three aspects: professional behavior,professional cognition,and professional emotion.We analyzed the recovered data.We explained and analyzed the status of professional identity of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,the differences in the professional identity of different demographic variables and the influencing factors of professional identity.We hope it be able to show the status of professional status more comprehensively,and help us put forward some suggestions to improve professional status.The survey found that the overall level of professional identity of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at a slightly higher level.Among all the aspects of professional identification,professional cognitive is the highest,professional emotional is medium,and professional behavior is the lowest.The Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages has a better understanding of the professional situation,but the action effort is insufficient,and professional behavior needs to be improved.Professional identity has significant differences in different demographic variables,such as: the grades,the regions,the teaching experience and the achievement levels.There are no significant differences in gender,whether they are interdisciplinary,or whether they have full-time work experience before entering the master's degree.Student personal factors,teacher factors,school factors,employment factors,and social factors all have strong correlations with students 'professional identity.There are some problems in school factors,employment factors and society factors,especially show in students' Concerns about future employment.Through the analysis of the results of the survey and interviews,we put forward some suggestions to improving the professional identity.For graduate students,they need to choose their majors rationally after fully understanding their majors.,rationally plan the professional study and life,strengthen professional learning,and maintain a positive and optimistic professional mentality.For school,schools should strengthen professional Publicize,promote curriculum reforms to meet the needs of students,provide students quality internships and strengthen employment guidance,seizing opportunities to strengthen professional construction.For the social,society should guide the people has Correct understanding of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,and the state also can provide relevant policy support.
