The new curriculum reform require teachers to serve education creatively,it is necessary to researchers.The goal of the excellent teacher training program,we require specialization and high quality in education.There also new requirements for English teachers in primary schools.If we want to improve the teaching quality and the overall development of primary school,we need improve teaching reflection.It is necessary to study the present situation in teaching reflection.Also it is necessary to find the influencing factors.We select 106 primary school English teachers from 29 primary schools as interviewees.Then we analysis the existing problems and causes in teaching reflection.From the view of teacher,student and curriculum view to promote their teaching skills and professional development.In this paper,we propose to analysis in detail division of the structure of teaching reflection.We collect the results in view of contents and summary.Then,we solve these problems deep in thought.The path and strategy of improving the reflective ability of primary school English teachers will have practical significance to improve the teaching level of universities,educational policy makers and primary school English teachers.In this paper,we have five parts.First,we introduce the research background,literature review,research content and significance.Second,we revise the definition of the concept in reflection and teaching reflection.The basis is critical theory and constructivism theory.Third,we build investigation by questionnaire and interview.We find the existing problems :(1)They limit of understanding in teaching reflection(2)They do not use correct method to solve this problems(3)They do not play animportant role in teaching reflection(4)The contents of teaching reflection is not rich.As above,we found the problems.They lack of reflective concept in teaching reflection and weak consciousness.Another,they have limitations in professional quality.Objective reasons include that they lack of internal motivation in teaching reflection.Also they lack of thinking deep in thought.Last but not least we propose promotion strategies which include updating educational ideas and improving the comprehensive literacy.Then revise courses and collect feedbacks from students.We also need to improve construct of external environment.We should pay attention to professional development and develop the habit of reflection.
