A Study On The Characteristics And Teaching Strategies Of The Modal Adverbs Of Strong Will

Modal adverbs,which are frequently used but also have complex usages,have always been the focus and difficulty of Chinese as a foreign language.As a sub-category of Modal adverbs,the modal adverbs of strong will are one of the difficulties.Through the investigation and analysis of the previous research results,we find that most of the studies on modal adverbs of strong will focus on the semantic,syntactic and pragmatic functions of individual adverbs,as a whole,the study of mood adverbs of intention is rare.In addition,there has been very little research on Chinese as a foreign language modal adverbs.In view of this,we study the modal adverbs of strong will and classify them according to the degree of their subjective will,and get the sub-category of modal adverbs of strong will.Based on the investigation of the inner members of the strong-will Modal adverbs,this paper aims to make a study of the strong-will modal adverbs,taking the modal adverbs "Pian","Jiu" and "Fei" as the main subjects.This article first carries on the exploration and the summary from the ontology angle to its semantic,the grammar and the pragmatic characteristic,then based on to the overseas student fills in the questionnaire the correlation data analysis,based on the analysis of the modal adverbs of strong will from the perspective of Chinese as a foreign language,this paper puts forward some pertinent and appropriate teaching strategies.This thesis consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.Starting from the significance of the topic and the research object,it combs the previous research results related to the strong will modal adverbs,puts forward the breakthrough point and innovation point of this study,and briefly introduces the research methods and corpus sources.The second,third and fourth chapters analyze and discuss the characteristics of the modal adverbs of strong will from semantic,syntactic and pragmatic aspects respectively.Semantically,it analyzes and inspects the semantic features,relevant semantic background and modality transmission of "Pian","Jiu" and "Fei",syntactically,this paper sums up the position and co-occurrence of the modal adverbsof strong will in the sentence and the other sentence elements,and pragmatically sums up the distribution of the sentence types of several adverbs and sums up their pragmatic functions of pointing out the presupposition and highlighting the focus.The fifth chapter is mainly from the perspective of Chinese as a foreign language,through the Corpus Search and the questionnaire survey of foreign students,based on the relevant data of the questionnaire filled by foreign students,this paper analyzes and sorts out the common errors of foreign students in acquiring the modal adverbs of strong will,and then synthesizes their noumenon characteristics and the errors of foreign students,this paper puts forward some relevant suggestions and strategies for the Chinese as a foreign language of the modal adverbs of strong will.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,carding and summing up the research results of this paper,and pointing out the problems and deficiencies of this paper.
