The quirky modeling methods, warm and rich emotional expressions, and wonderful thinking ideas in Chu art have made me understand a lot of modernist sculptors, such as Henry Moore,Picasso, and Brancusi's exploration of African primitive art and Learn and inject natural mystic power and romantic humanistic spirit into your sculptures.Over the centuries that we have followed the Western sculpture theory system, the fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetic concepts has led us to the opportunity to reexamine our ancient relics. The introduction of the concept of Chu-style utensils and sculpture and the emphasis on aesthetic concepts have broadened the "reservoir" of sculpture language. The Chu people "believe in witches and worship sacrifice," and Chu objects as cultural material mapping are influenced by the concept of witchcraft, among which the rich totem symbol is the externalization of the spiritual concept. The "mutual infiltration" relationship between natural objects is the main reason for the formation of composite shapes in the concept of witchcraft, the purpose is to strengthen the divinity and accelerate the realization of its own needs.Utensil sculptures are derivatives of composite shapes, forming strange and bizarre, mysterious and romantic art style. This article will analyze the compound modeling language of representative utensil sculptures in the Chu tomb, and consider whether we can extract inspiration for contemporary sculpture creation from it.
