In the late Ming Dynasty,the society was turbulent,and the academic atmosphere showed a trend of "three religions in one",and the status of Buddhism declined.As one of the four monks at the end of the Ming Dynasty,OuYi ZhiXu,in order to save this situation,saved Buddhism through the method of aiding Confucianism into Buddhism.He used the "science of mind" as a bridge through which Buddhism and Confucianism could be communicated,abandoning the traditional rigidity of Cheng and Zhu Confucianism,taking Kongyan Xinxue as the ancient path,taking Yangming's understanding as the true biography of Kongyan,and Yangming Xinxue as communication.The bridge between Buddhism and Confucianism believes that Yangming's psychology is the method of Buddhism justification.ZhiXu is devoted to the integration of Buddhist doctrines and Confucianism;the interpretation of Confucian "study" with the "sense" of Buddhism;the interpretation of Confucian "benevolence" with the "sex" of Buddhism.Under the background of the unity of the three religions,through the combination of Confucianism and Confucianism,Confucianism is absorbed,and under new opportunities,Buddhism is reborn.In addition,ZhiXu also extended and compared Confucian "Tao","Gentleman" and "filial piety",and equated the Confucian "Tao" with Buddhism "Buddha";the moral construction of "Gentleman" was related to Buddhist practice;In addition,the "filial piety of the world" of Buddhism is compared with the "filial piety" of Confucianism to highlight Buddhism's feelings of salvation.While knowing Buddhism and Confucianism,ZhiXu is also reflecting on contradictions within Buddhism.He tried to integrate the internal contradictions among the schools,and denounced the mad Zen disease.While reviving Buddhism,he was also reflecting on the "Four Books Study",trying to correct the rigid Confucianism under the social background at that time.In general,The Analects of Confucius is a book in the social context at that time,which is timely,harmonious,and integrates Confucianism and Buddhism.
