With the cross-disciplinary research deepening in music and psychology,the analysis of musical performance is not limited to paying attention to music skills.It also includes a complex process of psychological activities involving the coordination and cooperation of various nervous systems in the brain.Therefore,the psychological activities of the performers during the performance gradually became the focus of the research on musical performance.The piano work "Liuyang River" is one of Wang Jianzhong's piano repertoires with the spirit of the age.This work with his maturing music skills.is to promote traditional folk music and also an important medium to let the world understand Chinese traditional music.Although many famous performers have rich stage experience,they are not skilled at systematically summarizing and reviewing their musical performance.Thus,there is a realistic need for analysing the psychological activities of the performers in the piano work "Liuyang River",providing a broader and scientific basis for the theoretical study of Chinese piano works and making it more substantial and perfect.In this work,the composer and performer Wang Jianzhong fully expresses the charm of Chinese piano works with melodic squeaking,decorative sounds,and loose beats.During the musical performance,the performer should effectively adjust and control the timbre through,embody the style features,highlight the melody lines and create the vocal layering in accordance with psychological orientations of different timbres,so as to show the charm of Chinese piano works.At the same time,psychological activities of the performers play a major role in the performance skills and emotion-expressing of the piano work "Liuyang River".That to say,psychological activities of the performers have a full influence on the formation of performance skills and emotional control.The psychological activities and body movement of the performers in the performance depend on the close coordination of the various nervous systems of the brain,involving the six psychological factors of hearing,memory,imagery,imagination,synesthesia and emotion.Under the control of the brain,the player's psychological activities,body movements and the musical skills are coordinated with each other to form a complete playing psychological structure.When performing the piano work,the psychological activities run through the whole dynamic process,and the nervousness is the key factor affecting the performer's psychological state and performing state.The main causes involved are poor memory,absence of mind,the lack of practice and the effects of anxiety.Therefore,the corresponding counter-measures include the consolidation of music memory,the development of performance awareness,the cultivation of learning attitude and the establishment of a good mentality.This research focuses on cross-disciplinary--the frontier field of music and psychology,combining relevant theories on psychology and music psychology,exploring the psychological activities in performing “Liuyang River”,with a purpose to provide a new research perspective for piano performance,providing more reference and help for the performers of “Liuyang River” and new opportunities for more people to understand and learn Chinese piano works.
