The weathering phenomenon of the giant Buddha in maijishan grottoes caused the rock grains to fall off in many parts of the Buddha,which seriously affected the appearance appreciation and visual effect of the giant Buddha.The main weathering of maijishan giant Buddha is as follows: empty drum,warping,flaky detachment,pulverization,shortening and alkali,discoloration and discoloration.These weathering phenomena seriously affect the artistic and cultural spirit and natural landscape experience conveyed by maijishan grottoes.Therefore,analyzing the main weathering factors of the giant Buddha and increasing its passive regulation should be taken as the primary objectives of this study.In this paper,the weathering causes and preventive measures of maijishan giant Buddha were investigated and analyzed.This paper on the historical background and developing process of maijishan grottoes related narration,Outlines the weathering characteristics of maijishan region,and to explore its artistic value and background and evaluated,summarizes and sums up the domestic and foreign research present situation,the root cause of the traditional architecture of weathering of the grottoes at home and abroad to understand site weathering protection standards,the analysis of various natural elements affect the maijishan grottoes weathering,researches on the main cause of maijishan grottoes Buddha weathering,emphatically expounds the radiation from the sun and the connection between the maijishan Buddha weathering phenomenon.In the field investigation,cave no.13 of dongya and cave no.98 of xiya are selected as the research objects to test the environmental factors.The body size of the selected giant Buddha and the location of the measuring point near the track were measured,and the testing elements included the temperature and humidity,wall temperature,wind speed and solar radiation intensity of the giant Buddha.Based on the measured data,the weathering status of maijishan giant Buddha was summarized and the main factors were analyzed and studied.In this paper,the software Autodesk Ecotect Analysis 2011 was selected as the simulation software for this study.After the boundary conditions were determined,the selected giant Buddha was simulated and compared with the measured results.At the same time,the simulation also complements the measured content,and the simulation results more intuitively reflect the weathering status and existing problems of maijishan giant Buddha.According to the present situation of maijishan Buddha weathering,the premise and the first principle,in order to protect the giant Buddha to passive control design of maijishan Buddha,maijishan west cliff Buddha statue,for example,the protective measures were related to improvement and adjustment,by using the analysis of the simulation software more intuitive west cliff Buddha before and after the adjustment of the solar radiation,quantitative analysis of the changes before and after improvement value,at the same time Suggestions according to the simulation results of Buddha ceiling size of length,width and the height,Angle adjustment,combined with the data,analysis of the measured and simulated results,maijishan weathering prevention control strategy is put forward,hope as to initiate somewhat to research the weathering mechanism of maijishan Buddha.
