Research On The Development And Change Of The Design Of "ZHUANGSHI"

Founded in 1958 as the journal of the Central Academy of Fine Arts,"ZHUANGSHI" has witnessed the birth and growth of new China's art design together with this college witch has a long academic tradition.The content of"ZHUANGSHI" covers all fields of art design and plays a pivotal role in the field of Chinese art design.This paper first divides the development process of "ZHUANGSHI" into four periods,namely the germination period(1958-1961),the rivival period(1980-1995),the exploration period(1996-2008)and the maturaton period(2009-present).Secondly,"ZHUANGSHI" founded more than 60 years,the binding design has changed a lot.Through summarize the external design,interior design and craft design of the four periods of "ZHUANGSHI" can obtained the clues of the development and change of the binding design of"ZHUANGSHI".Taking this as a clue,the author makes a longitudinal comparison,which reflects the influence of politics,science,technology and culture on the binding design of art periodicals in different periods.Then,the paper makes a horizontal comparison with other art periodicals and summarizes the evolution of art periodicals' binding design.Combining these changes with the background of the times,we can see the great influence of the background of the times on the binding design of art periodicals and the driving effect of the binding design of art periodicals on the development of the times.Finally,the paper summarizes the traditional culture contained in the style characteristics of the binding design of "ZHUANGSHI",and draws the future development direction and enlightenment of the binding design of art periodicals.
