On the basis of the Dictionary of Ancient Writing of Western Zhou Dynasty by Mr.Jiang Xuewang,this paper further collates the academic achievements of the Western Zhou Dynasty,and revises it.The paper is divided into three parts: Perface,common practice and revision.The perface introduces the situation of the Dictionary of Ancient Writing of Western Zhou Dynasty and the present research situation of the Western Zhou Dynasty.The common practice section introduces the revised formate of this article,so that the reader can more systematically understand the content of this article.The contents of the revision can be divided into two parts: the revision of the characters and the revision of the writing on bronze ware of the period misplace.The part of "revision of the characters" is the revision of "The table of characters"(65 cases)based on the latest research and interpretation results of the academic circle.For example,Feng Shi's three notes on Ye Jiashan Zengguo cemetery combined with Han Dynasty stone images,and changed "(?)" of No.02385 in ShangTu Jingzi Ding into "Li".The part of "he revision of the writing on bronze ware of the period misplace",the author put it in the column of different periods(103 cases in total).For example,the Bell of Ni in No.00060 of Jicheng,be putted at the column of Middle Western Zhou Dynasty in No.351“Qie”of the Dictionary of Ancient Writing of Western Zhou Dynasty in Volume 3.But in No.1838“Wu”in Volume 12,be putted at the column of Late Western Zhou Dynasty.Things like that,this paper would consistent with the source of the characters.If the academic community has a new interpretation results,we would consistent with the new results.
