On The Image Modeling Of Contemporary Chinese Figure Painting

As a branch of Chinese painting,Chinese figure painting has a long history and many schools,with different features in different times.The vertical analysis of the modeling characteristics of Chinese figure painting from the perspective of modern people is basically an image formation view.With the development of Chinese figure painting,the modeling language has been enriched a lot,but image modeling is still a major modeling language.Among them,"image" includes the painter's subjective and spiritual expression,the summarization,induction and summary of objective objects and the artistic conception formed by the integration of subjective and objective.Because of the different emphases on the expression of "meaning",image modeling can be roughly divided into two categories.One is to present the aesthetic feelings of the subject to the object on the basis of the objective object image.The focus of the aesthetic concept is on the external object,and the representative figures,such as gu kaizhi,han xizai and he jiaying,are the ancient painters.The second is the image expression from the subjective self.The painter focuses on the expression of his own inner feelings.The aesthetic concept focuses on the inner world.Image modeling in the specific paintinglanguage is manifested in three major parts,"line","color" and "layout",which have obvious intentionality in traditional and contemporary Chinese figure painting.Therefore,by using the method of literature research and image demonstration,this paper analyzes the modeling language of traditional and contemporary figure painting from the three aspects of "image line","image color" and "image space",so as to deeply understand the features and expressions of image modeling,and embody this understanding through specific creation.
