The Northern Wei Dynasty Shengle Era Culture Exhibition Display Space Design Research

Shengle Era of Northern Wei Dynasty refers to the time period from the year of 258 A.D.when Tuoba Liwei led more than 200 thousand people to go to Shengle and offer sacrifice to Heaven to the year of 398 A.D.when Tuoba Gui,King of Wei,moved capital to Pingcheng,that is,the historical process of going through 140 years to found the Northern Wei Dynasty.In the history of 140 years,nomadic culture integrated with farming culture deeply in Shengle,the open thought of national unity and national amalgamation came into being gradually,the gradual transition of Tuoba Xianbei ethnic minority from tribal alliance system to feudal system was promoted,and economic and military strength enhanced increasingly.Striding forward from here to integrate into the Central Plains and unify northern China,it laid the foundation for the flourishing age of Sui and Tang Dynasties.There is no highlighted exhibition of this major historical process at the existing exhibition of Shengle Museum.And there exist problems of the theme of Shengle Era in the Northern Wei Dynasty being not outstanding,era features being unconspicuous and exhibition pattern being out of date in the exhibition.The cultural exhibition of Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty is designed and directed against problems above,presents the history that Tuoba Xianbei ethnic minority entered and ruled over Shengle,established tribal alliance,founded a feudal state,then founded the feudal dynasty of Northern Wei Dynasty.It shows the whole process that Tuoba Xianbei ethnic minority put into practice multi-ethnic amalgamation,kept friendly relations with the Central Plains,learned from farming economy,led its ethnic people to transform from nomadic life to farming life,realized the economic form of semi farming and semi animal husbandry by degrees,constantly grew powerful and integrated into the Central Plains,and launched the unification of northern China.Exhibition space design of cultural exhibition of Shengle Era of Northern Wei Dynasty highlights the exhibition of historic facts that national amalgamation and mutual development happened at Shengle area in Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty.The theme and era features of Shengle Era in the Northern Wei Dynasty are integrated with space design in the way of exhibition,and the historical process and major historic events in Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty are expounded by means of cultural research.Basic exhibition framework is determined by means of exhibition content and pattern research,and exhibition methods and final exhibition effects are defined by means of the study on exhibition design.This paper takes‘the path of integration' as the design idea,‘grains'represent the farming culture in the Central Plains,imply the process of Tuoba Xianbei ethnic minority to integrate into the farming culture of the Central Plains constantly,so that the theme of the cultural exhibition of Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty is highlighted,and factors of cultural features of Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty are extracted from historical relics,such as‘magic animal of Xianbei ethnics',‘Guoluo belt of Xianbei ethnics',‘Yiyi gold'‘Long live Dadai eaves tile',and‘ancient wrestling eaves tile'.These five elements represent the cultural features of Tuoba Xianbei ethnic minority in different development stages in Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty respectively.The paper turns these elements into visual symbols and puts them in use in exhibition space,so that the whole exhibition theme is highlighted.Being distinctive,the features of Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty fully unfold the cultural significance of Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty.It tries to solve the problems that exist in current exhibition contents of Shengle Museum,such as unclear expression of the theme,not outstanding era features,vague and general contents,and old-fashioned exhibition pattern.It highlights the exhibition of the era theme of nomadic culture integrated with farming culture in Shengle Era of the Northern Wei Dynasty,and provides ideas for the popularity of Shengle culture.
