Opera Criticism And Gender Interpretation Of Women In Ming And Qing Dynasties

A survey of women's literary creation in the Ming and Qing dynasties reveals that women writers have not only created a large number of poems,but also created a large number of works of other genres such as ballads,legends,Sanqu and opera criticism.Among them,opera criticism is just a part that cannot be ignored in the field of female literature creation during this period.Compared with other literary genres,opera criticism shows its uniqueness on the basis of the continuation of the female literary tradition,which is embodied in the gender consciousness reflected by the female opera critics in their works.Through this gender tendency,the author takes the concept of social gender as the breakthrough point,summarizes the three characteristics of the opera criticism,which focus on the image of female characters,their true inner feelings and the strengthening of female gender consciousness,and deduces the special concern of the female opera criticism author for the whole gender group.This kind of care is gradually highlighted with the continuous enhancement of women's gender consciousness.It is not limited to the field of traditional operas,but spread through the network of women's literature in the Ming and Qing dynasties.It encourages women in the Ming and Qing dynasties to participate in the construction of the social gender order,thus enabling women to gain some freedom in the economic and cultural fields.However,since the social culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties has always been dominated by patriarchal culture based on patriarchy,despite the emergence of such a new gender concept as equality between men and women,women still cannot have the same gender status as men.This result still has its reference value in today's society.It reminds us that although social ideology has been further liberated and developed,and new patterns of gender relations,gender concepts and family division of labor have emerged,under the long-term influence of patriarchal ideology,the social gender order still has its irrationality.Therefore,women's liberation is still a major proposition in today's society,and the pursuit of gender equality is still the ultimate goal of feminism.Therefore,with the influence of multi-culture,under the situation where traditional gender concepts predominate and diversified gender concepts coexist,we should seek common ground while reservingdifferences,instead of strengthening differences,and realize gender equality on the basis of respecting gender differences.
