Analysis On The Creative Process Of The Series Of Self-portrait “Breaking Cocoon”

Graduation creation oil painting “Broken Cocoon Rebirth” is based on the author's own growth and personal artistic growth process.After a full understanding and analysis of the author's growth process,I deeply felt the existence of self-subject consciousness and obtained more spiritual creation inspiration,which laid a good foundation for the author to complete the work.In the daily painting training,through the repeated practice of self-portrait,I kept looking for spiritual expression in the pictures,which accumulated rich painting experience for graduation creation and laid a solid painting foundation for future creation.This paper starts from two aspects of ideological review and artistic review in the process of self-growth,draws lessons from the thoughts and forms of self-painting at home and abroad,and completes the artistic expression of self-breaking from cocoon to rebirth more fully and vividly.Static art shows the dynamic transformation process,which fully and vividly completes the artistic expression of the changes before and after breaking the cocoon.Through experiencing my inner world in the past and the present,I can better complete the oil painting creation “Broken Cocoon Rebirth” by combining concrete with abstract.This article mainly elaborates the creation process of “Broken Cocoon Rebirth” from three parts:The first part mainly expounds the source of creative ideas.It includes: 1.Understanding of art spirituality in the painting language of the Romanian oil painting master baba;2.Review of the growth process of self-art;3.Attention to the subject of self-portrait themes.The second part mainly describes the study and reference of composition,color and modelling in the art works of masters.The third part mainly expounds the practice process and creation perception of the works.
