Water based material painting,because of its unique media materials to highlight its own language characteristics,its flexibility,richness,particularity and other characteristics are favored by artists,in the art creation,the way of expression is more free and diverse."Floating life like a dream" series of creation effectively broke the shackles of traditional expression skills,which is of great significance to broaden the form of painting.With the diversified development of watercolor painting,from a single paper watercolor to the comprehensive use of a variety of materials,it has gradually developed into a variety of watercolor painting materials,providing more possibilities for the study of Chinese watercolor art.At present,the application and development of water-based materials in Chinese watercolor is not deep enough,and this creative research is based on the close relationship between the language characteristics of materials and the internal human spirit.In this paper,the use of water-based materials painting and expansion of a comprehensive analysis.First of all,clarify the overview of the development of water-based materials painting;secondly,by analyzing the current problems faced by water-based materials painting,think about the accurate starting point of personal creation,respectively,from the three aspects of language expression,the establishment of personal identity,innovation;thirdly,according to the "Floating Life like a dream" series of creation,put forward specific research ideas;finally,based on the watercolor ontology On the basis of language exploration,this paper makes aresearch on the targeted creation of personal water-based material painting.The purpose is to learn how to use reverse thinking logic to change the old language perspective and try to broaden the new context of watercolor art creation.During this period,through the creation practice of individual water-based material painting series,the aesthetic characteristics of the material are absorbed into the painting language,and the unity of the form and content of the work is achieved while respecting the free emotional expression,so as to provide a deep development space for the water-based material of watercolor painting.
