Acoustic Phonetics Study Of Olot Mongolian Speech Vowels In Hulunbuir

This thesis uses the phonetics research methods to analyse the speech vowels of three generations of Olot Monglian in Hulunbuir.This thesis consistes of five parts:the preface,the first chapter,the second chapter,the third chapter and the conclusion.The preface introduces the Hulunbuir Olot tribes and their speech,the overview of previous studies,the topic selection basis,the research purpose and the research methods.The first chapter described and compared the types and sound quality of the first-syllable short vowels and the non-first-syllable short vowels in the old,middle and young generations of the Olot Mongolian in Hulunbuir.This research show that firs-syllable short vowel of Olot Monglian speech in Hulunbuir has/a//?//(?)//i//I//(?)//(?)//o//u/,and non-first-syllable short vowel just has/(?)/.Besides,/a//i//(?)//(?)/do not existed age difference,/?//(?)//I//o//u/existed age difference.The second chapter described and compared the types and sound quality of the long vowels and diphthongs in the old,middle and young generations of the Olot Mongolian in Hulunbuir.This research show that long vowels of this speech has/a(?)//?(?)//(?)//i(?)//(?)//(?)//o(?)//u(?)/,and depthong has[(?)],[(?)I]-[(?)e],[ui].The types and sound quality characteristics of long vowels don't exist age difference,but depthong has age difference.The older pronunciators have the least variety of diphthongs,while the younger pronunciators have the most variety of diphthongs.And suffix depthong is pronounced long vowel in this speech,this pronunciation characteristic is similar to the pronunciation characteristic of the Weilat speech.The third chapter makes the acoustic analysis of the vowel harmony rate of Olot Monglian speech in Hulunbuir.It found that vowel harmony has age difference in this speech.In other words,vowel harmony of the old and the middle-aged informant is "Diafonal harmony",and the young is "radiation direction harmony".The conclusion part summarizes the analysis results and the comparison results.
