Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the fine arts industry in Inner Mongolia has made great achievements along with the economic and cultural construction of the autonomous region.During this period,Inner Mongolia’s watercolor painting creation also from scratch,gradually developed,mature,formed the current prosperous situation.From 1949 to 1966,art creation in Inner Mongolia grew from bud to prosperity in 17 years."Cultural revolution" ten years,is the Inner Mongolia art creation suffered a heavy blow ten years.Since the new period,it is the golden period for Inner Mongolia’s art creation to flourish and achieve brilliant achievements.The author chooses two main stages of the development of Inner Mongolia watercolor painting to study: one is from 1949 to 1966,namely the "seventeen years" after thefounding of the People’s Republic of China;the other is from the beginning of the "new period" to the early 1990 s,which are two important periods of the development of Inner Mongolia watercolor painting.The author studies and combs the creation of Inner Mongolia watercolor painting in these two periods in order to provide reference and experience for the current and future Inner Mongolia art creation.In "seventeen years" during this period,the founding of the watercolor painting creation is mainly a study of Inner Mongolia,growth stage,be realistic,plain style,creative content mainly reflect this period of Inner Mongolia natural scenery and people’s life,Romania and Zhang Guangbi watercolor painting can be representative of the watercolor painting creation features of Inner Mongolia during this period."New period" began to increase the number of watercolor painters,their creation has its own characteristics,art tends to diversify and personalized.At the same time,there was a trend of learning from the west.The content of the creation mainly reflected the colorful life of the people since the new period,which was more diverse and rich compared with the "seventeen years".Yella,zhang zhong,zhang guocai,Yang zhiling,audi and yun wanli are the representative painters of this period.Through the analysis of their works,we can get a general understanding of the creation of Inner Mongolia watercolor paintings in the early new period.In the two periods of watercolor painting in the creation of research and comb at the same time,the author tries to explore the reasons for its change and invariable,to reveal its internal regularity.Grassland scenery and grassland life are the motif of watercolor painting creation in Inner Mongolia.The fundamental reason is that "grassland" is the "zong" in Inner Mongolia and the most important thing.In addition,the Inner Mongolia watercolor painting creation in the new period has made a lot of progress in terms of technology and skills,forming a more mature and diverse style,which the author attributed to the influence of external factors,namely the progress of The Times,the renewal of ideas.It can be seen from this that the relationship between inheritance and innovation,essential characteristics and external influences is an issue that Inner Mongolia watercolor painting will face in the future.The new generation of watercolor painters should take history as a mirror and strive to push the watercolor painting creation of Inner Mongolia to a new height in the new era.
