There are few in number composers are still active in the western music world,ZHANG Hao-Fu is one of them,his creation combines Chinese traditional music materials with modern composition techniques.His works possess both audibility and technicality,and are generally recognized by the music industry at home and abroad.This article chooses The Song From Heaven as the research object and uses the method and steps of “Music Analysis” to do a more systematic and in-depth study.This work was composed for the cello and symphony by Belgian Chinese composer ZHANG Hao-Fu.The author will comprehensively and systematically analyze and interpret this work from the perspectives of the design of the theme material,the theme penetration and development,structural analysis,texture form as well as the orchestration characteristics.And then illuminate the usage of the northwest music materials in ZHANG Hao-Fu's music and his music creation style.There are five chapters in this article.The first chapter mainly introduces ZHANG Hao-Fu's biography,study experience,work experience,creation overview and a brief description of The Song From Heaven.The second chapter mainly analyzes the pitch characteristics of this work.And will analyze how the name materials and syllable materials to compose its characteristics,and also analyzes the relationship between the two materials and Qinghai Hua'er music.The third chapter mainly illuminates the harmonic structure characteristics and musical form structure of The Song From Heaven.This chapter detailedly analyzes the structure of speciality interval and the compound harmonic language formed by it in this works.It also explains the dividing basis of musical form structure.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the orchestrate characteristics of this work and its texture,audio processing as well as the mutual relation between the cello and the band on the audio.The fifth chapter mainly expounds ZHANG Hao-Fu's music creation style and his aesthetic pursuit based on The Song From Heaven.
