Polysemy is an important feature of language vocabulary and a major difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Usually,after learning to a certain extent,with the deepening of the difficulty of reading materials,second language learners have difficulties and deviations in understanding sentences,and there is a big gap in language output with native speakers.Learning has entered a rigid and bottleneck stage.One of the important reasons for this phenomenon is that the specific meanings of polysemous words can not be accurately understood and used flexibly.The teaching of polysemous lexical chunks based on schematic thinking no longer uses simple listing of meanings in traditional teaching methods,but attaches the context and grammar requirements of polysemous lexical items to lexical chunks according to the singularity of polysemous lexical meanings in specific linguistic environments,and grasps the semantic expression of specific meanings through the learning and accumulation of lexical chunks.At the same time,by making use of the semantic connection between semantics and the inherent cognitive change of the development of semantics,in the process of introducing and explaining lexical chunks,the new lexical chunks are linked with the existing knowledge by using the schematic thinking of assimilation,adaptation and balance,so as to achieve the dynamic balance of the cognitive system.The new lexical chunks are constantly created and the old ones are perfected and supplemented to form polysemous lexical items and lexical chunks.Schema network.At the same time,it is emphasized that the formation of schema network needs not only the guidance of teachers,but also the initiative of students.Learning is not passive indoctrination,but the integration of external information and the construction of internal initiative.According to the cognitive mode and knowledge base of cognitive subject,it forms its own schema system.Highlighting the importance of acquisition,polysemous lexical chunks are not only passive learning in the classroom,but also active acquisition in daily communication and reading.This paper proposes a cognitive schema-based teaching method of polysemous words and lexical chunks,which uses lexical chunks externally to alleviate learners' difficulties in understanding and memory burden,while improving learners' fluency and accuracy in Chinese;and uses schematic thinking internally to connect all semantics and lexical chunks organically to form a complete cognitivenetwork,which is not only conducive to students' understanding of new knowledge.And memory,more conducive to the extraction,strengthening and consolidation of knowledge.
