Phonological Studies Of Jiangcun Dialect In Shuangpai County

The study of the dialect in south of Hunan is a popular researching field of linguistics, which is just unfolding lately. Jiangcun, a remote country, is located in the south of Hunan, so far, no comprehensive and deep research has touched upon Jiangcun dialect. This thesis tries to analyze the tune of phonology and phonetic features of Jiangcun dialect, compare it with other dialets, and the author put forward his own opinions hoping to provide some materials for the study of the dialect in these areas.This thesis consists of five parts:The first part: introductionThis part introduces briefly Shuangpai's and Jiangcun's location, history, population and condition of language, etc.The second part: The phonetics system of Jiangcun dialectThis part analyzes deeply the tune of phonology, phonetic features and the law of combined pronunciation of vernacular and classical Chinese of Jiangcun dialect, and states the harmonious relation of its phonology, moreover, records its homonym form.The third part: The main lexical featuresThis part describes the main lexical features of Jiangcun dialect, hoping to get more knowledge.The forth part: comparisonThis part compares the dialect of Jiangcun with the Dong'an dialect, Xiaojia dialect, Yizhang dialect, Jiangyong dialect, Jiahe diaject, Ningyuan dialect, Changsha dialect, Shuangfeng dialect.The fifth part: conclusionThis part proposes that Jiangcun dialect is a type of'Xiang-nan" dialect by the comprehensive comparison and analysis.
