| As a sheltered space,the countryside has been given a cold and negative image tone of backwardness,fragmentation and depression in historical writing.With the development of post-vernacular narrative and independent documentary images,the countryside presents a rich and three-dimensional spectacle state in a pluralistic and real visual exhibition.At the same time,the development of the new documentary movement in the 1990 s further promoted the documentary film to focus on the social phenomena that had been obscured by the grand narrative under the state of “de-macro”,and it exposed the scene meaning of the countryside as the entity space in the organic renewal process.The purpose of this paper is to take the documentaries after the 1990 s,which are typical and representative of rural images,as analytical texts,and take spatial narrative as analytical horizon.In the spatial framework of fluctuation space,juxtaposed space and historical space,through the three levels of rural object,group image,rural memory and ritual,the balanced relationship between “change” and “invariability” is permeated into the“countryside”.In the discussion of the image,the real,three-dimensional and multi-dimensional meaning of the image of “countryside” is presented.In the process of spatial structure,the image of “countryside” is activated.As a “living body” which can respond to the changes of time and space,the image of countryside is conserved in the changes of scenes.In this paper,through the development state of the three major rural components of nature,community and local culture,the “motionless” and “fluctuation” rural spectacle is formed. |
