Ceramic art is a handicraft with a long history. It can be said to accompany the growth of human beings and be one of the most important inventions in the stage of human enlightenment.Ceramics, playing an irreplaceable and important role in the world, are essential living materials in human production and life. The history of Chinese ceramics is also a history that various experts prefer to study. In ancient times, there was a special subject for the study of ceramics, called epigraphy. However, most experts study imperial ceramics, few study ones from civilian kilns.Ancient imperial kilns did make outstanding contributions, but after all, they represent the culture and aesthetics of a few privileged strata instead of the majority of ordinary people. To study the ordinary people,we should start from the perspective of the ordinary people and understand them from their living habits, living goods, emotions, thoughts, culture and other aspects. There are rich and brilliant nomadic cultures bred in the northern minority areas.Inner Mongolia is in a region where nomadic culture and farming culture blend. It not only represents the nomadic culture of the north, but also represents the farming culture of the central plains as well as the semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral culture of the blending of the two sides.Plentiful cultural types have produced unique cultural characteristics and types in Inner Mongolia, which has also produced a large number of unique folk handicraft ceramics. However, with the change and development of the times, after the industrial revolution, especially in recent decades,a large number of industrial products---high degree of production mechanization, short production cycle, large quantity and low price---quickly occupied the market.A large number of folk craftsmen have been forced to transfer and some kinds of ceramic arts have lost or are facing loss. The civilian kiln ceramic art in Inner Mongolia isdifferent from other areas and has a distinctive style. If it declines,it will be a great loss to our multiculturalism.Through the comparative study of civilian kiln ceramics in central and eastern of Inner Mongolia, this paper explores how to protect, develop and spread the civilian Kiln Ceramics Culture in eastern and central Inner Mongolia. The central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia have their own cultural uniqueness, which is very different from the mainland. This means that only the folk craftsmen who understand and love this land can make folk kiln pottery products that meet the local aesthetic and needs. And the land has great potential and market for our local young artisans to explore.
