On Huang Zunxian's Cognition Of Japanese Traditional Culture

Huang Zunxian(on April 27,1848--March 28,1905)is from Guangdong Jiaying,the late Qing Dynasty poet,diplomat,politician and educator.His style name is Gongdu,the Guanri Taoist,the East China Sea,the People in the Company Owner,French Fashion Ren Zhai Master,the Water Meets the Goose Red Visitors,Pu-Tai,GongZhiTa,the Worshippers Cuckoo,etc,known as "the first modern China to the world".Huang zunxian was born in a family of big businessmen who engaged in the pawnbroking industry.His father Huang Hongzao,word yan bing,a xianfeng six years(1856)juren,a former master,magistrate in guangxi.He was counsellor in Japan,consul general of San Francisco,counsellor in Britain and consul general of Singapore.He is good at poetry and likes to incorporate new things into his poems and his representative works include Poems on the Retreat,the Annals of Japanese and Japanese Miscellaneous Poems,etc.This paper mainly explores Huang Zunxian's cognition of Japanese traditional culture,which is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background,basis,significance,academic review history,innovation and characteristics of the article.The second chapter is about Huang Zunxian's cognition of the Japanese traditional worship ceremony and the custom of marriage and funeral.It mainly explores Huang Zunxian's understanding of Japan's ancient and modern dynasties' meeting ceremony,sacrificial ceremony,marriage customs and funeral customs.Among them,we can learn about the characteristics of "marrying without avoiding kinship" in Japanese marriage customs,the forms of redundant marriage and marriage at marriage,and the general situation of marriages at all levels.It also discusses the buddhist cremation in Japanese funeral customs and the Shinto funeral and so on,its content is very rich and colorful.The third chapter is about Huang Zunxian's cognition of traditional Japanese clothing,food,housing and folk festival customs.The whole chapter is divided into four sections from these four aspects.The content of the introduction is very detailed,but also shows that Huang Zunxian's understanding of Japanese culture is quite detailed.In terms of clothing,huang zunxian believed that it was a copy of the Tang Dynasty and was deeply influenced by the culture of the Tang Dynasty.Diet is rice and fish soup;Living place is very elegant,artistic life,living in imitation of Korean system;There are so many festivals.The fourth chapter is Huang Zunxian's cognition of the entertainment mode of traditional Japanese society,which is divided into two sections: dance and tourism.In terms of dance and music,both dance and music reflect the absorption of foreign culture and the creation and inheritance of native culture in Japan.You yan embodies the traditional Japanese love of fun national character.The fifth chapter is Huang Zunxian's cognition of Japanese spiritual belief,which is divided into three sections from three aspects of Shintoism,Buddhism and surnames.The content of this chapter reflects Huang Zunxian's cognition of the spiritual world of Japan,which is the essence of this paper.For example,Shintoism and Buddhism in terms of religious belief run through the whole ancient society of Japan,and the development of clan also reflects the Japanese concept of valuing ethnic honor.The last part is the conclusion of the article,which sorts out Huang Zunxian's views on Japanese traditional culture.Respectively is: Huang Zunxian thinks Japanese dress has very strong tang style;Huang zunxian's cognitive characteristics are extremely meticulous,the research is extremely rigorous;Huang zunxian studied the status of Shinto and Buddhism in the national religion in Japanese history,the unique characteristics of Japanese Buddhism,the deep relationship between Shinto and Chinese Taoism,the Japanese surname culture and so on.
