A Study On The Monument And Sculpture Of The Concession Of Modern Shanghai

This paper takes the monuments and sculptures in the concessions of modern Shanghai as the main research object,and takes the concessions as the unit to sort out the general situation of the development of these monumental buildings in a certain historical background,summarizes their stylistic characteristics,as well as people's cognition and evaluation of these monuments and sculptures in different historical periods,and discusses these works in a specific context.The function of publicity and the direction of public meaning in the historical context,as well as the public message and value appeal conveyed by various forces,public social groups and individuals in the public exchanges and dialogues around the works.This paper introduces the development of monuments and sculptures in concessions around World War I and during the War of Resistance Against Japan,and then summarizes the characteristics of their styles,such as the cognitive evaluation of these monuments and sculptures in different periods.This article is mainly composed of the introduction as the three chapter and the conclusion of the three main parts:In the introduction part,the origin and current situation of the research on the monuments and sculptures in the concession of modern Shanghai are introduced,and the distribution and influence of these monuments and sculptures are summarized.The first and second chapters construct a big frame of these monuments and sculptures at the two time nodes of the First World War and the War of Resistance,and then discuss the historical background,shape and nature of these monuments and sculptures with the concession as a unit.On this basis,summarize the characteristics of their aesthetic style and strive to skeleton.Clear and clear.The third chapter is about the cognition and evaluation of these memorial buildings and sculptures in different historical contexts before and after the May 4th Movement and after the founding of the People's Republic of China.Conclusion part.
