Modern Shanghai Huajie City Traffic Accidents And Governance (1927-1937)

The traffic problem has always been an important aspect that can't be ignored in the modernization of the city.Shanghai,as an international metropolis attracting city that attract much attention from all the world,has its vitality in the development of transportation,and urban public transport is one of the most important aspect.With the emergence and development of modern traffic,all kinds of traffic accidents appeared in Chinese boundary and concession.Traffic accidents have also been reported in many media.Traffic accident is a complex concept.It is difficult to see its origin from one aspect.Therefore,it is worthwhile to explore and analyze its characteristics,find out the necessity and summarize the general rule,so as to restore the traffic situation as much as possible.This paper is based on the understanding of the development of Shanghai in all aspects of the modern public transportation,to explore the general means of accident and traffic management in this period.In order to reflect the problem that modern city traffic in Shanghai and the process of Chinese authorities for the modernization efforts.This paper is divided into three chapters,taking the traffic accident as the point.Discussing the background,the condition,the reason,the characteristics and the following treatment.The first chapter mainly introduces the background of traffic accidents,including the development of transportation facilities and infrastructure,as well as a part of traffic development in The Great Shanghai Plan.It also discusses the problems of modern traffic and the general situation of traffic accidents in detail.The second chapter mainly introduces the characteristics and cause of traffic accidents.Discussing the reason of accident in the special environment of geography and culture.Then discusses the specific circumstances of the accident results and on-site treatment,the facts were reduced by plenty of examples.Meanwhile describe the response in all levels of society.The third chapter mainly introduces the preventive measures of traffic accidents,including the revision and improvement of traffic regulations and regulations,the various preventive and management measures of various organizations and groups,the establishment and improvement of traffic facilities,and the propaganda of modern traffic safety concept.
