The Comparative Study Of The Artistic Performance Of The Image Of Plantain Of Plantain, Stone And Peony And Sparrow And Plantain And Its Enlightenment To My Creation

From Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty,the literati paintings of the past dynasties have had a considerable influence on the aesthetic thoughts and techniques of Chinese traditional painting,which achieved its summit during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Literati were more inclined to express their feelings through animals,plants and other unfeeling things such as plantain,snowy bamboo and snowy plum blossoms than characters during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.With the Buddhist meanings of unreality,hollow impermanence and fragile,the image of plantain is in conformity with the three principles of literati paintings,which refers to stylization,non-visuality and time limitlessness.This paper takes Xu Wei's Plantain,Stone and Peony and Ren Bonian's Sparrow and Plantain as the main thread.Through the comparative analysis of the two paintings,this paper explores the inner emotions and unique painting skills of the painters through their historical background and life experiences,and integrate these skills into my art work.With the methods of image analysis and contrast analysis,this paper focus on the technique of drawing,the use of color and the sentiments of the painter of the two paintings of Xu Wei and Ren Bonian.The first part briefly introduces the development of plantain culture in Chinese painting and its influence on Chinese literati paintings.The second part illustrates the connection between life experiences and creative career of Xu Wei and Ren Bonian by giving a introduction to the living background and artistic life of them.The third part focusing on the two art works of plantain,summarizing the unique taste of the two paintings by a comparative study of their composition,technique of drawing and the use of color.The last part is mainly about my opinions on the subject of flower-and-bird painting throughout the study.
