"Look Ahead" And "Judgment" Of Documentary Shooting

The making of documentaries is a process in constant motion and change.Because of the objective reality of the contents of the records,the shooting process also integrates the possibility that everything photographed conforms to the law of natural development.So,with so many possibilities,without pre-planning and in-process screening,it is easy for the photographer to fall into the trap of "new freshness".It's hard to make sense out of all the clues,causes a missed opportunity.And as the photographer of the documentary,if you can combine your own aesthetic style,personal experience,technical means and the "foreseeing,anticipating and preparing" obtained through the preliminary changes in the development of things.It can help us to find the essence of things from diversity and possibilities.So as,to make a feasible "judgment,decisions and determination",together with for scene performance.This kind of "look ahead" and "judgment" undoubtedly plays a vigorous important role in the creation of documentaries.In this paper,from the perspective of the dialectical relationship between the photographer and the objective content being photographed,starting from the shooting process of the author's graduation design documentary "With Wood Carving Heart",to think about and discuss the important relationship between "Look ahead" and "Judgment" in documentary shooting.
