Rao Zongyi's Calligraphy Art Of "Cultivating Calligraphy By Learning"

Mr.Rao is a famous scholar at home and abroad.He is a famous master of Chinese traditional learning.He has studied both in China and the West.He has made remarkable academic achievements in the fields of literature,economics,archaeology,calligraphy and painting,among which his attainments in calligraphy are extraordinary.On the basis of previous studies on Mr.Rao,this paper will discuss his calligraphy art from the academic level.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is a brief overview of Rao Zongyi's life and experience of learning calligraphy;the second chapter is a detailed study by stages based on his calligraphy works;the third chapter is a study of Rao Zongyi's aesthetic thought of calligraphy through his "six questions" and "ten comments";the fourth chapter is an analysis of the influence of oracle bone study,bamboo and silk study,Dunhuang study,etc.on his calligraphy art to explore the "cultivation by learning".Calligraphy art of Mr.Rao.In the end,it tells the Enlightenment of Mr.Rao to the development of contemporary calligraphy.Rao Zongyi put forward his own opinions on the basis of the tradition,and thought that the bamboo and silk could be in the best position with the inscription,which raised the bamboo and silk to a new height,which was not mentioned before.Rao Zongyi's way of learning books is a way from tradition to innovation.He takes the method from traditional calligraphy and stele study,but does not stick to the tradition.He creates a new field of learning books by combining his own research on oracle bones,bamboo and silk.The traditional way lays a solid foundation for his calligraphy creation,while the innovative way makes his calligraphy work pursue clumsiness and interest,which is natural,ancient and magnificent,and has its own style.Through the study of his calligraphy art,this paper sums up the essential law of Rao's calligraphycreation of "cultivating calligraphy by learning" and discusses the significance of Rao Zongyi's calligraphy art for the development of contemporary calligraphy art.
