On The Emotional Expression In Oil Paintings

Emotion is an essential element of oil painting creation and an internal driving force of oil painting creation.As an expression of emotion,emotion plays an important role in both the external form of painting creation and the artist's internal spirit.The painter not only expresses emotion through creation,but also conveys emotion through art works.Under the interaction of personal emotional expression and artistic creation,the emotional expression of oil painting is more colorful.This paper is divided into three chapters: the first chapter,the importance of emotion for oil paintings.The second chapter mainly discusses the different forms of expression of emotion in oil paintings,mainly from four aspects of composition,color,brushwork and image to elaborate the relationship between them and emotion.The third chapter,the process of graduation works creation and experience,through different angles to show how emotion is expressed in the picture,emotion in personal works.Through the writing of the thesis and the creation of the works,we can better understand the important role of emotion in the works and improve our ability of aesthetic appreciation.At the same time,we should deal with the relationship between emotion and painting in the later creation process and try to show the inner emotion through the pictures.
