Photography and painting,as the main means of visual art,play an important role in the history of art development.The development and application of photography technology have promoted the change of traditional painting concept,expression means and thinking mode,and inspired painters to start a new exploration and thinking on the subject matter,form,language,style,concept,performance and other factors of painting.It can be said that the emergence of photography has enriched the expression language and form of traditional painting.They complement each other,depend on each other and learn from each other.Whether it is photography or painting,they are constantly breaking through their own limitations and seeking cross-border attempts and integration.Therefore,we cannot one-sided think that the emergence of photography represents the decline of easel painting art,on the contrary,it enriches the expression language and content of painting,and injects new vitality into the development of contemporary art.This paper analyzes the influence of photography on painting after its birth,focusing on how the interaction between contemporary photography and painting art takes place and puts it into practice.The article mainly discusses form three parts: the first part focuses on the influence of the birth and development of photography on painting;the second part analyzes the commonness and different between photography and painting from the perspectives of hue,composition and emotional expression;the third part examines the relationship between photography and painting from the perspective of contemporary painters,and analyzes the contemporary photography and painting creation from the perspective of photographers interaction.
