Study On The Accompaniment Art Of Dulcimers In Contemporary Chinese Quyi Music

Through thousands years historic development,the word "Quyi" gradually formed in China.Instruments occupies an important position in Quyi music.As an important accompaniment instruments in Quyi music,compared with other accompaniment instruments,dulcimers show an advantage at "double identity" with round and bright timbre.Having a variety of playing techniques;dulcimers play irreplaceable and important roles of accompaniment in some sorts of Quyi.In the domestic research field,there are few theoretical studies on the accompaniment instruments in the Quyi music,while only a few studies on the accompaniment are carried out.Thus,a research on the dulcimer,the major instruments in some sorts of Quyi accompaniment,is especially significant on the study of accompaniment instruments in Quyi music,as well as a far-reaching impact on the study of dulcimer.This paper conducts an in-depth study and analysis on Shandong Qinshu,the most representative and mature Qinshu type of Quyi music,in order to study the role of dulcimer in singing and accompaniment of Shandong Qinshu.Moreover,an additional research is supplemented with Meihua Dagu,Guangxi Wenchang and Sichuan Qinshu for further study,which sorts of Quyi music choose the Chinese dulcimer as the main accompaniment instrument.Based on the score examples of specific sections,this paper analyzes and summarizes the importance of dulcimer accompaniment function in Quyi music as well as the similarities and differences of dulcimer accompaniment in different kinds of Quyi music.In the final,the important and practical meaning of further exploring and promoting dulcimer in contemporary Chinese Quyi music will be presented.
