Objectification refers to the separation of body parts and functions from the person, the attention and valuation of others, the degradation of status of objects or the replacement of the person.Objectification refers to paying special attention to the appearance of the same sex, especially some sexy body parts, and valuing others based on their appearance. The objectification of women is very common in life. From the ancient "Three-inch Golden lotus" and "the King of Chu with a Thin Waist",to the phenomenon of beauty selfie and plastic surgery on social networks, they all pay special attention to and estimate the value of women with their bodies.Researches on the influencing factors of objectified homosexuality have being carried out.In recent years, some researchers have begun to pay attention to whether the same sex competition scene for social resources will affect the objectified homosexuality, and whether the same sex competition scene for opposite resources will affect the objectified homosexuality. At the same time, some studies also show that physical attractiveness is an influencing factor of objectified same-sex,and also an important influencing factor in same-sex competition. Then, will physical attractiveness affect women's objectified homosexual? And how? Therefore, based on the previous studies and the existing phenomena in the society, this paper investigates whether the same-sex competition scene of physical attractiveness and the competition for resources of opposite sex affects the objectification of female college students, and discusses the relationship among the three. In experiment 1,33 female college students were taken as subjects, and after randomly starting the situation with or without same-sex competition,Gervais' overall picture task was used to investigate the accuracy rate of women's image matching task in the situation with or without homosexual competition, that is,the objectified homosexual situation. The results show that :(1)the main effect of the image task type is significant, indicating that there is indeed a focus on the part of the female body, especially the sexy part of the body, and less on the whole, that is,the objectification of the gaze, and the objectification of the female same-sex behavior.(2)the main effect of the same sex competition scene is significant, indicating that the same sex competition scene for the competition of opposite sex resources will improve the level of objectification of women. In experiment 2,44 female college students were taken as subjects to form an attractiveness gap between the subjects and the subjects in the experiment pictures, which was divided into three types: large attractiveness gap, small attractiveness gap and no attractiveness gap. After randomly starting the situation with or without same-sex competition,Gervais' overall and local picture task was used to investigate the accuracy rate of women's image matching task under different attractiveness gaps and situations with or without homosexual competition, that is,objectified homosexual situation. The results show that :(1)the main effect of attractiveness gap is significant, and there is indeed an effect of different attractiveness combinations on the accuracy of image matching, that is,the attractiveness gap has a significant effect on the objectification of female.Among them, the small attractiveness gap has a significant impact on the objectification of women.(2)the attractiveness gap has a significant interaction with the image task type.Only the body part image task has a significant impact on the attractiveness gap.Under the condition that the attractiveness gap is small, there is a big difference between the two image task types.(3)the same sex competition situation has a great interaction with the attractiveness gap.In the competitive situation, the matching accuracy rate with a small attractiveness gap is significantly higher than that with a large and no gap.In short, through the study of female objectification of the same sex,it is found that women will objectify other women, among which the same sex competition for resources and the attractiveness gap play an important role. The results of this study can promote the understanding of the factors affecting women's objectification and provide a new perspective for the clinical intervention of women's physical and mental health.
