In recent years,with the increasing exchanges between China and Thailand,more and more Thai students come to and study in China.Therefore,in the field of second language learning,the study of Thai students how to learn Chinese is also becoming all the more important.Phonetics is the carrier of the language symbol system,the material & external shell of language and the basis of communication.Therefore,phonetic teaching is particularly important in the second language teaching.Taking Thai students as subjects and adopting the micro-genetic method,this paper aims to explore the influence of frequency on correcting the pronunciation of consonant sh/ch for Thai students with different levels in Chinese.Three questions are raised:(1)Is it effective for the frequency to correct the pronunciation of consonant initials sh/ch in different contexts?(2)How is the process of correcting the error on the Chinese consonant initials sh/ch for Thai students with different levels in Chinese ?(3)What is the effect of input frequency and output frequency on correcting the pronunciation of Chinese consonant initials sh/ch speech? Study shows:(1)The frequency is the best for the error correction of the disyllabic word when the Chinese consonant initials sh/ch are at the first syllable position.(2)The experience of the primary Chinese proficiency in the error correction is summarized as progress---regression---recovery---basic stability;the change process of the intermediate-level Chinese proficiency in error correction is summarized as progress---basically stable;the process of change in the advanced Chinese proficiency in error correction is summarized as progress---basically stable.(3)The input frequency has more significant effect on the primary Chinese level;the output frequency has more significant effect on the intermediate and advanced Chinese level.In the end,the paper puts forward some suggestions for the Chinese phonetics teaching of Thai students,hoping to provide reference for Chinese teachers.
