In his novel Rhetoric(1961),Wayne Booth proposed "implied author" and "unreliable narrator" to study "dialogue" between author and narrator, character and reader. For the documentary text, there are also authors, narrators, characters and audiences corresponding to the novel text. Then,in the current social and cultural context, some documentaries that use plot-based and dramatic narrative methods to enhance the narrative can also draw on the unreliable narrative strategies in fictional works.Based on the practice of the first person unreliable narrative creation in the graduation work "Graduation 27",the author explores the unreliability of the first person narrative in the documentary and the aesthetic significance of this narrative strategy.
