Writing is one of the keys to learning a language well.Positive and effective teaching methods play an important role in improving students' writing level.However,there are many problems in existing teaching methods and models of English writing,and the teaching effect is not good.In order to improve the teaching quality,experts are constantly trying and exploring various teaching methods and models.Among them,blended learning model comes into views of experts,with the proposal of the concept of educational informatization.It combines the advantages of online learning with offline classroom instruction,which provides a new path for English teaching.Therefore,blended learning model can be applied into the teaching of English writing in senior high school.With reference to the research achievements of relative experts on blended learning model and the characteristics of senior high school English,this thesis makes a study on the application of QQ-assisted blended learning model into writing teaching with the help of 100 students from two parallel classes in Gaizhou No.1Senior High School.This study adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the following questions:(1)In what way does the QQ-assisted blended learning model affect students' English writing level?(2)How does the QQ-assisted blended learning model affect students' use of English writing strategies?(3)What role does the QQ-assisted blended learning model play in students' writing autonomy? The experiment lasts four months,and the research instruments include test,questionnaire and interview.For the experimental data,SPSS 23.0 is used to be the analysis software.Research results show that,compared with the traditional classroom teaching model,QQ-assisted blended learning model significantly improves students' English writing level.This model can enrich students' writing strategies,especially improve their ability to use cognitive strategies and social affective strategies.Students can use a variety of strategies to clear writing barriers and complete English writing tasks better and faster.At the same time,QQ-assisted blended learning model combines online learning with offline instruction to create a relaxing and interesting learning environment for students,which changes students' negative attitudes and stimulates their interest in English writing.Students change their attitudes from resisting Englishwriting to learning English writing actively,thus improving their writing autonomy.It is hoped that this study can provide some implications for the teaching of English writing in senior high school.
