Oral English teaching is the weakest part in English teaching of junior middle school at the present stage.English front-line teachers have been exploring effective ways and means to improve the quality of oral English teaching in their own educational practice.With the development of educational informatization,blended learning is on the stage of history.Blended learning combines traditional face-to-face teaching with online learning to make up for some shortcomings of the traditional teaching and online learning models and to play the advantages of both can effectively improve the performance of both teaching and learning.Therefore,how to make use of the advantages of blended learning to realize the optimization of oral English teaching in junior high school,which has become the topic of this study.Based on the teaching practice,this study takes a junior middle school in Nanhai District of Foshan City as the object of investigation,and makes a questionnaire survey on the present situation of oral English teaching in junior high schools from three aspects: teachers,students and parents,and the problems that need to be solved in this study are sorted out:Based on the theory of blended learning,how to construct the blended learning mode of spoken English teaching in junior high school? Based on this model,how to design oral English teaching?What is the effect of the blended learning mode in junior middle school English spoken English teaching?Secondly,through reading and teasing out the concepts,theories,principles,practices and the relevant literature of the application of the blended learning model in oral English teaching at home and abroad,then under the guidance of the blended learning theory,we can draw lessons from many kinds of blended learning models.From the extraction of the construction elements of the model,the preliminary construction of blended learning model of oral English teaching in junior high school.After that,selecting the students in two classes of a junior middle school in Nanhai District of Foshan City as the experimental objects,and the oral teaching activities with the theme of "charm English" as the carrier to carry out three rounds of action research.The main purpose of the first round of action research is to test the rationality of the various elements of the model.The main purpose of the second round of action research is to refine the mode link and improve the mode operation.The main purposeof the third round of action research is to test the perfect model and to discuss the application suggestion of the model.After three rounds of action research,we finally got a more mature blended learning mode of oral English teaching in junior high school.Moreover,the researcher has carried on the experimental research on the practical application effect of the model in oral English teaching.By comparing the test scores of the subjects before and after the oral English test,and comparing the data before and after the questionnaire,the following conclusions are drawn: Adopting the oral teaching model based on blended learning can effectively improve the students' interest in English learning and attitude to English learning and can improve students' oral English proficiency,including pronunciation,phonetics and intonation,dialogue and communication,and also can improve students' ability of cooperative communication,autonomous learning and evaluation.Finally,the author sums up,summarizes and reflects on the whole research process,draws the conclusion of this study,and puts forward some suggestions for the follow-up study.
