The difference between bilingual and unskilled bilinguals in the process of language switching is an important research field in psychology and psycholinguistics.Bialystok's hypothesis of the advantage of bilinguals has been widely discussed in academic circles.Although there are many researches on this hypothesis, most studies directly compare the monolingual and bilinguals in social life,or unskilled bilinguals and proficient bilinguals. It is difficult to control the irrelevant variable from the analysis of the surface differences. In addition, there is an important theoretical premise for bilingual advantage hypothesis: in the context of language switching,non-target language will activate automatically when processing target language, and bilinguals will inhibit the activation of non-target language,There is still no consensus on this critical theoretical premise. Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance to study the activation and suppression of non-target language and to test the influence of language switching training experience on the interference suppression of bilinguals. This article is divided into two studies, each of which has two experiments, and a total of four experiments.Experiment 1 is a 2(type of words : pronunciation similarity relation, pronunciation irrelevant)*2(type of non-target language: Chinese,Uighur)subjects in the ERP experiment, choose Chinese proficient bilinguals 20 as the research object, research paradigm is cross language priming paradigm, words pair as research material,to discuss non-target language lexical level activation and inhibition. The Experiment 2 is a 2(type of words:semantic similarity relation, semantic irrelevant)*2(type of non-target language:Chinese,Uighur)subjects in the ERP experiment, choose Chinese proficient bilinguals 16 as the research object, research paradigm is cross language priming paradigm, words pair as research material,to discuss non-target language lexical level activation and inhibition. The experiment 3 selected 21 Chinese proficient bilinguals for 10 days of language switching training, language switching training produces the results that were intended. The experiment 4 selected 42 Chinese proficient bilinguals, all subjects were randomly divided into two groups as the experimental group and another group as the control group, each group has 21 subjects, the experimental group took language switching training, the control group did not received language switching training, explore the language switching training effects on interference suppression of non-proficient bilinguals. The results show that:(1)When the non-target language is Chinese, the peak value of P200 component difference wave induced by pronunciation similarity relation words pair and pronunciation irrelevant words pair is greater, and the peak latency is longer.(2)When the non-target language is Uygur, the peak value of N400 component difference wave induced by semantic similarity relation words pair and semantic irrelevant words pair is greater, and the peak latency is longer.(3)In the language lexical level, the N2 components induced by the condition of non-target language Chinese prime are significantly greater than those of the Uygur.(4)In the language semantic level, the N2 components induced by the condition of non-target language Uygur prime are significantly greater than those of the Chinese.(5)After 10 days of language switching training, the N2 components induced by the tenth day ' s peak value of N2 components were significantly greater than first days.(6)There was significant difference in the N2 components of the control group and the experimental group when the conflicts task was performed in the post test stage.Conclusions:(1)When the target language is processed, the non-target language is activated in both conceptual and lexical levels.(2)Unskilled bilinguals inhibit the non-target language after its activation in both conceptual and lexical levels.(3)Language switching training has indeed enhanced the ability of Interference suppression.
