A Reasearch On The Image Of The Confucius Institute Among Central Asian Students In Xinjiang

Confucius Institutes are founded in light of Goethe-Institut of Germany,Alliance Francaise of France,Instituto Cervantes of Spain.These are non-profit public institutions dedicated to promoting Chinese language and culture.They have formed unique image since the day they came into existence.Students who come from Central Asia are very special among the students in Xinjiang Province,they have thoughts about Confucius Institutes.But nobody seems to have picked it up as a topic of research and actually looked at it in detail.This thesis is based on the theories of imagology,it will definitude the connotation of the Confucius Institutes' image.The targets of the investigation are students who come from Confucius Institutes in Central Asia.We need to collectively know the macroscopical images and influence of Confucius Institutes,and offer advice to promote further development.Researches suggest that the images of the Confucius Institutes need to be futher enhanced.For the sake of improving them,there are some suggestions in this thesis.
