A Study On Schubert's Vocal Cycle The Swan Song

The long history of music has never stopped,in the late 18 th century and the early 19 th century,there was a vocal music to the peak of the "king of art songs"-Franz Schubert.As a synthesizer of the composer,his music has both classical style and romantic color,especially his final vocal cycle "the song of the swan",which has obvious performance.The author collects and integrates the existing literature data of the swan song,conducts case analysis on the representative works,and makes comparative analysis on the related works.In the analysis,he interweaves musical examples to find the similarities and differences,so as to reflect the characteristics of schubert's vocal cycle.Through the study of schubert's swan song,the author divides this paper into four chapters and subsidiary chapters.In the introduction,the theoretical significance of the topic selection and the research status at home and abroad,as well as the research content,methods and characteristics of this paper are explained.The first chapter summarizes the social background,achievements and swan song of schubert.In the second chapter,the similarities and differences between schubert's 14 songs and other songs are extracted through the in-depth analysis of the melody line in the cycle.The third chapter not only compares the characteristic harmony of the cycle with other works,but also explores the accompaniment texture which can reflect the characteristics of schubert's creation.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the above analysis,classifies and compares the tonality and structure of the works.Through the above analysis,I think the schubert this divertimento mainly outstanding is to linger in the world and,at the same time the author also for art songs had more comprehensive understanding,have a more profound understanding to the composer schubert,for his work for the development of vocal music divertimento "swan song" to contribute to a more scientific evaluation,and research on all aspects of the divertimento find the style and features of schubert song at the same time.
