As a well-known contemporary writers of the genres of science fiction and fantasy in American,Ursula K.Le Guin has been working hard all her life. Her works are wide-ranging and profound, elevating the fantasy of this era to the level of serious literature.Among them,“The Earthsea Cycle” makes her stand side by side with those world-famous fantasy writers such as J.R.R.Tolkien and C.S.Lewis.“The Earthsea Cycle”,which lasted 31 years,is one of Ursula K.Le Guin's most representative series.Based on the text, this paper explores the narrative strategy and the author's attitude from the perspective of narratology. The first chapter uses the relevant theories of character narratives and analyzes the construction and dissolution of the images of epic heroes to explore the narrative effects brought by different characters in “The Earthsea Cycle”.The second chapter uses the relevant theories of feminist narratology, combined with the social and historical background, and focuses on the narrative perspective of “The Earthsea Cycle” from the traditional male perspective to the feminist perspective. The third chapter analyzes how the narrative space of “The Earthsea Cycle”changes from “panoramic” state to “fragmented” state on the premise of the linear development of the story by using relevant theories of spatialnarration. This paper intends to summarize the author's creative attitude behind the narrative strategy through a detailed analysis of the text from the perspective of an interdisciplinary perspective:firstly, the author looks at men while focusing on women;secondly, the author doesn't stop thinking about the nature of human;finally, the author pays more attention to the inner world of the characters. This paper intends to re-examine the role of “The Earthsea Cycle” in Ursula K.Le Guin's overall creation through this research.
