A Study Of Spatial Narrative In Yu Hua's Novels

The "spatial turn" originated from the academic field of Humanities and social sciences is generally regarded as one of the most noteworthy events in the development of humanities knowledge and politics in the 20 th century.Scholars began to explore the "space" existing in humanistic life,and actively explore the multiple survival implications inside the space.In Yu Hua’s novel creation in different periods,we can always see the participation of "space".Both the diversified interpretation of spatial images and the flexible and innovative use of spatial strategies add a lot to Yu Hua’s creation.On the one hand,Yu Hua’s deep excavation of spatial images and changeable spatial narrative strategies can provide some useful references;On the other hand,space,with its unique social productivity,affects Yu Hua’s thinking and turning of his own creation,and injects new vitality into his creation.Therefore,the spatial research on Yu Hua’s creation actually provides a new perspective and thinking dimension for the analysis and research of Yu Hua’s works.Taking the spatial narration in Yu Hua’s novels as the research object,starting from the specific text of Yu Hua’s novels,this paper combs the diversified spatial images in Yu Hua’s novels,excavates the application of spatial narrative strategies in Yu Hua’s creation,and finally summarizes the deep meaning and cultural value of spatial narration in Yu Hua’s novels,It provides some useful references for developing the research field of Yu Hua’s novels and spatial narration.
