Imagery Construction Of TV Play From The Perspetive Of Roland Barthes' Rhetoric Of The Image

As one of the core categories in traditional Chinese culture,imagery has become one of the significant characteristics of contemporary public aesthetic culture.With imagery,the narrative implication of the TV Play can be significantly improved with high-grade esthetic value and quality.Imagery creation has also become the goal that artists are striving for.In this thesis,an imagery cretation method is introduced which is based on the Roland Barthes' visual rhetoric.This method is also applied to a TV Play called the distance between the world and me in order to extract imagery construction skills of different information layers through examples in the linguistic message,the non-coded iconic message,and the coded iconic message presented by this TV play.Different from TV play that use intense conflicts as their narrative strategy,this creation will conduct an experimental exploration of TV play Ideographic is the main content.In the linguistic message of TV Play,the anchoring and relaying of sound techniques,the explanatory texts in thematic music and text techniques,and the texts in the stories can all be used to construct the imagery of TV Play.Besides,in the iconic message of TV Play,non-coded iconic messages often exist as props to condense ideas and sublimate themes.Moreover,encoded iconic messages are divided into a single vertical image and a combination of overlapping images to explore techniques.Under the hierarchical deconstruction of the three kinds of information,this thesis found the image construction skills under different coding rules.At last,this thesis analyzed the relationship between encoding and decoding in TV discourse.As shown in the result,there is no uniqueness between imagery generation and technological innovation.On the contrary,the result shows a direct proportion of mutual adjustment,mutual generation,and mutual promotion.
