A Study Of Local Records In The Central Region Of Chengdu In The Qing Dynasty

Local choreography is a comprehensive work recording history,geography,social custom,property resource,economy & culture and other aspects within certain region.Bashu Region has the tradition of compiling local choreographies since ancient times.Qing Dynasty can be said the heyday of local-choreography compilation.As the political and cultural center in Bashu Region at that time,the importance of Chengdu is self-evident.In Qing Dynasty,Local-choreography Art & Literature in Chengdu Region focuses on compiling local natural landscape,human development,as well as all related poetic works recorded in details,In addition,Art & Literature has also recorded politics,economics,military-affair and other contents of Chengdu Region in Qing Dynasty.And actually,these works are of high literature-value.This article totally consists of five chapters.The first chapter introduced the general situation of Art & Literature of Chengdu Region in Qing Dynasty.First,it traced the development of Art & Literature of Sichuan Region in Qing Dynasty.Secondly,it further explained the general condition of compiling Art & Literature therein with the form of tables.The second chapter examined and discussed the compilation principle of Art & Literature of Chengdu Region in Qing Dynasty.The author totally divided them into four categories,namely Absence of Strangers,People-oriented Compilation,Territorial Principle and Art & Literature Separation,separately discussed them in detail,as well as went into particulars around specific group of compliers.The third chapter made a series of detailed discussions upon stylistic rules of Art & Literature of Chengdu Region in Qing Dynasty.The fourth chapter expounded the important contents included Art & Literature of Chengdu Region in Qing Dynasty and further discussed their literary values.The fifth chapter conducted further discussions around the literature values recorded in Art & Literature of Chengdu Region in Qing Dynasty.
