Carl Jung(Carl Gustav Jung,1875-1961)was the famous Swiss psychoanalysis. This paper takes the acceptance of his archetypal theory in the field of Chinese literary theory as the Research Object, divides his research in China into three periods with the clue of time, and sums up the emphases of Chinese scholars on the acceptance of Carl Jung's archetypal theory in each period, and summed up the focus of each period. The introduction discusses the current situation of Carl Jung's archetypal theory in China, and points out the significance of the study on the acceptance of Carl Jung's archetypal theory in China. The first chapter mainly focuses on the reception of Carl Jung's prototype theory in China, combing the philosophical origin of Carl Jung's prototype theory and the connotation of the prototype, this paper probes into two ways of spreading Carl Jung's archetypal theory in China: The introduction of Literary Works and the introduction of teaching materials. From the perspective of the spread of Carl Jung's theory of archetype in China, this paper attempts to analyze the reception of archetype in China in three periods. The Second Chapter Discusses The acceptance of Carl Jung's archetypal theory in the context of subjectivity.Under the background of "modernism" in the 1980 s,"human" was re-recognized,and the construction of human subjectivity was advocated during this period. The academic circles, taking Carl Jung's archetypal theory as the discourse resource, actively explore the value of people,Initially Accept Carl Jung's archetypal theory, and influence the development of Chinese root-seeking literature and stream-of-consciousness novels. The Third Chapter Discusses The transformation of prototype theory in China in the context of mass culture. In the 1990 s,with the acceleration of modernization and marketization, the background of the Times changed greatly, popular culture began to rise, people's values began to lose, and Chinese scholars began to further explore the humanistic spirit in Carl Jung's prototype theory,in order to wake up the people gradually lost spiritual home.On the other hand,Chinese scholars began to use prototype theory to analyze the text in this period, which provided a method of text criticism from another perspective. The Fourth Chapter mainly discusses the acceptance of Carl Jung's archetypal theory in the context of consumer culture due to the complexity of the context of the Times, which is both modern and full of mysticism.Since the beginning of the new century,China has entered the consumer society, the most prominent feature of the Consumer Society is visual culture,so at this time some scholars apply Carl Jung's archetypal theory to the analysis of film, analyze the symbolic scenes in the film.On the other hand, under the influence of Mysticism, some scholars use Carl Jung's archetypal theory to interpret and interpret fairy tales. The Fifth Chapter discusses the reasons and significance of Chinese scholars accepting the prototype theory. The reason why China Accepts Carl Jung's archetypal theory is not only the predicament of Chinese literary theory itself, but also the internal consistency between Carl Jung's archetypal theory and Chinese culture. However, due to the imperfect theoretical construction of prototype theory, unintentional misreading occurred in the process of acceptance.
