The Historical Narration Of Ethnic Minorities By Left Historians(1930-1949)

The 1930 s and 1940 s were a very important period in the history of modern Chinese history.Guided by historical materialism,Chinese left-wing historiography developed from initial development to prosperity during this period.Left-wing historians have gradually formed their own historical research and narrative characteristics through the combination of historical materialism and Chinese revolutionary reality.With the rise of ethnic contradictions between China and Japan,narrating ethnic minorities in Chinese history and exploring the relationship with the Han nationality has become a hot issue in academic research during this period.This article intends to analyze the three aspects of "national origin and national relations","national wars",and "evaluation of national powers and characters" that left-wing historiography focuses on in the field of minority historical narrative,and it is related to other historical schools in the Republic of China period.Compare the works to understand the characteristics,values,limitations,and influence of the historical narration of the minority ethnic groups in this period's left historiography.
