Painting And Sketching Of Flower And Bird Works

The study of Chinese painting complies with the trinity of "Copying—Sketching—Creation" and the three interact with each other,and sketching as an intermediate link plays an important role.Through copying,on the basis of mastering the traditional techniques of fine brushwork flower and bird painting,using the materials accumulated in sketching practice to create art.In the development history of Chinese flower and bird painting,painters all advocate to sketch in nature,and the continuous innovation of painting creation is mostly based on sketching nature,which also shows the importance of imitating nature in painting creation.Under the premise of mastering a large number of reference materials and investigation,this paper starts with the practice of writing flower and bird painting,and tries to find the historical origin of the word sketching,From the importance of the formation of sketching consciousness in the creation of flower and bird paintings in past dynasties and from the analysis of the relationship between shape and spirit to find the essence and true meaning of sketching.And combined with my own sketching practice in the rainforest area of Yunnan region,analysis and arrangement of the method of sketching,to explore the above-mentioned problems.Finally,the paper discusses the practical process of transforming the fine brushwork flower and bird painting of A little sunlight from sketching into creation,which shows that the creation of Chinese painting breeds in the sketch,and the sketching is the source of creation.
